Connecting Shopify to your workflows lets you automatically bring in valuable store data.

This guide shows you how to fetch data from Shopify, and use it as part of an automated system to stay organized and informed.

Creating a basic Shopify automation

  1. Create a new workflow or automation.

  2. Under Select a source, choose Shopify.

  3. Select the data you want to retrieve. Then click Next step.

Note: As this feature is in beta, a data processor can't be added after choosing Shopify as the data source. Once the data is in the destination spreadsheet, you can build another automation to process it.

  4. Select a destination spreadsheet.

  3. Marketing Events: Campaign activity data to evaluate marketing performance.

  4. Metafields: Custom metadata attached to products, customers, or orders, enabling enriched analysis

  5. Price Rules: Information on discounts and promotional pricing to analyze sales strategies.

  6. Product Variants: Variant-level data such as size, color, or SKU for granular inventory and performance tracking.

  7. Products: Includes titles, pricing, and availability, to support catalog management and analytics.

  8. Shop Information: Store-wide settings and identity data to provide operational insights and facilitate reporting.

  9. Smart Collections: Product groupings to monitor automatic categorization and performance.

  10. Webhooks: List configured event triggers to help audit system integrations and automate downstream updates.
