Rename files, forms and automations in a Workflow

Edit file names without leaving Sheetgo

Rename Files

Within Sheetgo, you can rename files connected to any workflow step. This allows you to keep automations updated without having to leave Sheetgo and search for the file in your cloud storage.

To rename a File in a workflow, open your workflow in Sheetgo Webapp. Then, on the right sidebar, click on the “Files” icon.

A list of all files linked to your workflow will appear. Locate the file you want to rename. Click on the three vertical dots (⋮) beside the file name. From the options that appear, select Rename.

A Rename dialog box will pop up. Replace the old file name with your new file name. Click on Save.

The new file name should reflect immediately in your workflow. If it doesn’t, simply refresh the page to see the updated name.

Rename Forms

To rename a Form in a workflow, open your workflow in Sheetgo Webapp. Then, on the right sidebar, click on the “Forms” icon.

A list of all forms available to your workflow will appear. Locate the form you want to rename. Click on the three vertical dots (⋮) beside the form name. From the options that appear, select Rename.

A Rename dialog box will pop up. Replace the old form name with your new form name. Click on Save.

The new form name should reflect immediately in your workflow. If it doesn’t, simply refresh the page to see the updated name.

Rename Automations

To rename an Automation in a workflow, open your workflow in Sheetgo Webapp. Then, on the right sidebar, click on the “Automations” icon.

A list of all automations present in the workflow will appear. Locate the automation you want to rename. Click on the three vertical dots (⋮) beside the automation name. From the options that appear, select Rename.

A Rename dialog box will pop up. Replace the old automation name with your new automation name. Click on Save.
