Visualize and share data from your Google Sheets

With Sheetgo Dashboards you can centralize existing graphs from all the Google Sheets in a workflow. Presenting this data in an alternative setting enables you to concentrate on the information.

Sheetgo Dashboards let you create a visual summary of information in your workflow. You can also easily share and download the dashboards, giving you control over how this data is distributed.

Creating a Dashboard

You can create a Dashboard in any Workflow that has at least one Google Sheets.

  1. Go to the Sheetgo app.

  2. Open the workflow you want to use as the base for your dashboard.

  3. On the sidebar, click the "+" icon and select New Dashboard.

  4. Select whether you want to add a Chart, an Indicator, or a Data table. For the sake of this example we will add a chart.

  5. A dialog box will appear. Select a Google Sheets file from the left to bring up all its charts.

  6. Select the charts you want to add by clicking on the checkbox at the top right of each card. You can select charts and graphs from many spreadsheets in the same workflow.

    Tip: If you can't find a chart, click the refresh icon on the top right.

  7. On the bottom left, you can check the number of selected charts and the number of spreadsheets they are from.

  8. Click Create dashboard to finish the process.

Your Dashboard will show all the selected charts.

Workflow without charts

If none of the spreadsheets have a chart, you will be prompted to create one. This link will take you to your spreadsheet, where you can add a chart.

Supported chart types

Dashboards support 8 chart types:

  • Line chart

  • Area chart

  • Column chart

  • Column chart (grouped columns)

  • Combo chart (line and columns)

  • Stacked column chart

  • Pie chart

  • Doughnut charts

Tips to create charts for Sheetgo Dashboards

  • Edit new charts to ensure both axis are labeled properly.

  • Abbreviate values over 100 million to 4 characters or less to ensure they are displayed correctly.

  • Keep x-axis labels under 5 characters to ensure they are displayed correctly.

  • Don’t use over 10 columns for graphs to ensure they are displayed correctly.

  • Customized min and max axis values will not be reflected on Sheetgo Dashboards. Instead, charts will be shown using default values.
