If you're having problems accessing the Sheetgo web app, Sheetgo for Google Sheets, or Sheetgo for Microsoft 365, try the following:

Allow cookies

Sheetgo uses cookie data to sync the files in your cloud storage folders. Ensure that cookies are turned on to use Sheetgo.

For Google Chrome users:

  • Open Chrome.

  • In the top right-hand corner, click on the menu icon ()

  • Go to Settings.

  • Under Privacy and security, select Allow all cookies.

  • Make sure Block third-party cookies is switched off.

For other browsers, get instructions here.

If you can't use your Google Account and you get a message that cookies are turned off, follow the above steps to allow cookies and try signing in again.

Update your browser

Your browser will normally update automatically, but if you haven't closed your browser in a while, you might see a pending update.

If you're using Google Chrome:

  • Open the browser.

  • In the top right corner, click on the menu icon ().

  • Go to Help > About Google Chrome.
Here you can see the current version, and the update will start if necessary.

  • When downloaded, click the Relaunch button to complete the update.

Clear cache, cookies, and browsing history

Sheetgo may fail to connect to your account if you have multiple Google accounts on your browser, such as a personal and professional account.

  • Open Chrome and click on the top-right menu ().

  • Log out from all Google accounts other than the one you used to sign up to Sheetgo.

  • Go to Security and Privacy > Clear browsing data.

  • At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All Time.

  • Check the boxes next to Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  • Click Clear data.

Alternatively, you can clear Sheetgo data with the following steps:

  1. In Google Chrome, open the Sheetgo web app.

  2. Press F12 to open Developer tools (or shortcut Ctrl+Shift+I).

  3. Right-click on the refresh button and click Empty cache and hard reload.

  4. Close the Developer tools with F12 after the reload and log in again.

Browse in private mode

  1. In Chrome, click on the top-right menu () and select New Incognito Window.

  2. A new tab appears: you will see the incognito icon in the top-right corner.

You can also use a keyboard shortcut to open an incognito tab:

  • Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS: Ctrl + Shift + N.

  • Mac: ⌘ + Shift + N.

You can switch between incognito windows and regular Chrome windows. You'll only browse in private mode when you're using an incognito window.

Deactivate add-ons

Ad-blockers, anti-tracking software, and other add-ons can prevent Sheetgo from working.

Some add-ons can block Sheetgo before it loads, causing a blank screen or an unexpected error. In most cases, deactivating some of your add-ons can solve the problem. Another option is to open your browser in incognito/private mode.
