The Sheetgo triggers ensure you always have the latest data without needing to manually run your workflows. It saves you time by automatically transferring data, even when you're offline.

You can set Sheetgo to update your workflow at intervals ranging from hourly to monthly. Additionally, triggers allow you to configure specific actions, ensuring your workflow runs seamlessly while you are away. This feature optimizes efficiency and keeps your data current effortlessly.

Automations in a workflow will update sequentially. If you want to alter the order in which they update, change the order of the automations inside the workflow. Learn more here.

You can also pause subsequent automations whenever there is one on the list that did not update. Learn more about workflow failure settings here.

How to use it?

There are two ways to start automating your workflow.

  1. From your workspace click on the icon with lighting and a circle arrow.

  2. From the workflow view, click on the Trigger icon on the sidebar.

Choose how often you want to update your workflow:

On the Trigger settings menu, slide the toggle button Run automatically. And now specify how often you want the workflow to be updated.

  • The first dropdown menu contains the trigger options. The workflow trigger can be Based on a schedule, On form submission, and On workflow run.

  • The second dropdown menu contains the routine of these updates. This can be Multiple times a day, Once a day, and Once a month

  • The third dropdown menu contains the frequency.
On “Multiple times a day”, this can be every hour, 2, 4, 6, 8, or 12 hours.
    On “Once a day”
    you select a time frame: “Between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.”.

  • The Day Option only appears when using multiple times a day and once a day, allowing you to select which day (or days) you would like to run the connection.

  • The Time Range option only appears on multiple times a day and it allows you to select when this workflow runs. in the image above, for example, it will run every hour between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM

Setting up a trigger ensures your data remains up-to-date effortlessly. By automating updates and using triggers, you save valuable time and maintain workflow efficiency even when you're offline. With flexible scheduling options, you can tailor the update frequency to suit your needs. Embrace the power of automation with Sheetgo's smart schedule to streamline your data management and enhance productivity.
