When building your automations with Sheetgo you can opt to add a step to send the files from your workflow via email. Sheetgo allows you to send personalized emails to a list of recipients.
The option of adding an email step to your automation is located on the Destination step. There are two options, Generate email and Share email.
Email addresses
Now you can choose whether you want to get the email addresses from a column within your spreadsheet or use custom recipients.
Click the options on the right to add fields to configure a Reply to email, as well as Cc and Bcc recipients.
You can set a Reply to email to redirect answers to another account.
You can also configure recipients as Cc and Bcc by providing a list of emails email list or by clicking From column to reference data in a spreadsheet.
Subject line
You are now able to personalize the subject line and the email content using smart tags. When you select a smart tag, Sheetgo will automatically pull data from the spreadsheet columns and add it to the subject line or the email body.
Message
You can write and customize the message as you want. You can also add smart tags to the email body to keep the email as personalized as possible.
After personalizing the email you can use the Advance features to have a more streamlined and effective workflow.
Advanced features
Group files by recipient.
If you are using the option of getting the emails from a column there might be cases where one email appears more than once, in this case, you can turn on this feature, it'll group based on the recipient so that you only get one email with multiple data instead of multiple emails about the same subject.
The use of this feature is limited to the option of Share Email
Track emails
If you need to keep track of the emails that are being opened and clicked you can turn on this feature, each one of these features will add new columns to the spreadsheet to give the status of the email that was opened and clicked.
Email Layout
If you are personalizing your email you can also remove the Sheetgo layout, allowing the email to have a cleaner visual for your company.
After personalizing your email, click Done editing and then Finish and save. Run the automation or the entire workflow to send your email.
