Sheetgo has a built-in feature that streamlines your workflow by automating the process of sending emails. With this feature, you can effortlessly send emails containing all the relevant information and data from your spreadsheets.

Share files and send access links

Let's see how to do this step by step. In this first example, we will use Sheetgo to share a lead tracking spreadsheet and send an access link.

Go to Sheetgo, click on + New, select Blank workflow, and start with Create an automation, select the source file and the tab that you want to work with.

With the source file select for o Next step, you will be asked if you want to add a Data processor to this automation, for the moment we will Skip this step.

The next step is to choose how you want to share your file. Select Share and send files by email.

You can choose now if you want to share files through a link or as an attachment. If you choose to send access links you need to specify the access level the recipient will have:

  • Editor: the person will be able to change the information on the spreadsheet.

  • Viewer: the person will only be able to view the file and not alter any data.

You can either get the email addresses from a column within your spreadsheet or type in the email addresses to which you want to send this file.

List of recipients

If you choose to Get dynamically from a column, you will be able to select the desired column where the emails are located.

You are now able to personalize the subject line and the email content using smart tags. When you select a smart tag, Sheetgo will automatically pull data from the spreadsheet columns and add it to the subject line or the email body.

After personalizing your email, click Done editing and then Finish and save. Run the connection or the entire workflow to send your email.

Custom recipients

If you choose to Use custom recipients, type in or copy and paste the email addresses.

Now you can edit the subject line and the email body to your email.

When using the custom recipient option you can't use smart tags to add information to the email.

When you are done click on Finish and save.
