Learn how to avoid an authorization loop between your browser and the PWA

An authorization error occurs if the Progressive Web App (PWA) is installed on a Chromebook and you try to authorize Sheetgo in a browser. This error is an endless loop, where you are redirected to the PWA to authorize every time you open Sheetgo in a browser. To avoid this, start the process on the PWA and not in a browser.

Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) are web applications that provide a native app-like experience with offline functionality, push notifications, and faster load times. They can be installed directly on a device from a web browser without visiting an app store.

Authorize Sheetgo using your browser

If you installed the PWA, but still want to authorize using your browser:

  1. Uninstall the PWA

  2. Complete the authorization process

  3. Reinstall the PWA (optional).
