When Sheetgo transfers data from a source to a destination, it will identify the following formats:

  • Numbers

  • Dates

Sheetgo will automatically parse values and transfer them to the destination sheet in the proper format. This setting allows you to interpret and format raw data automatically according to predefined rules. This tool is essential for converting unstructured data into a structured format that can be easily analyzed.

Data transfer errors

In some circumstances, Sheetgo may incorrectly identify values as numbers, dates, or formulas.

This includes:

  • Phone numbers starting with +

  • Codes starting with 00

  • Codes that resemble dates

If numerical values are being pasted incorrectly into your destination sheet you can deactivate the Parse Data setting to paste values as raw data.

How to change the Parse Data setting?

  • Open the workflow you want to edit and find the automation you need to turn off this feature.

  • Under Destination, open Advanced settings.

  • Under Parse data, turn off Convert text to numbers, dates, and formulas.

Sheetgo will transfer values to your destination sheet as raw data every time the connection is updated.
