How to add notes to your workflow

Learn how you can add extra informations about your workflow

When building your workflow there are many decisions that you make regarding your setup, these decisions are clear to you, but if you are working with a team, they might not be so clear to your colleagues, that is why Sheetgo has the option of adding Notes to your workflow.

These Notes can be useful to register extra information regarding how the workflow was built, what its main goal is, and other information that might be relevant to you or your team.

1. Notes button

Inside your workflow, there are two places where you can add and edit the notes, either on the left side menu, or workflow view, at the top right corner of the screen.

2. Add notes

After clicking on the Notes button, since this is your first note, you will need to click on the Add notes button.

3. Write down your notes

Now you can just write down your notes on the text box, you can also add images and links to make it easier to share the workflow information with your team. When you are done just click on Save.

4. Edit your notes

If you need to add more information or edit the notes that are already registered, go to one of the Notes buttons. When you click on it you will see the existing notes and a new Edit button at the bottom right corner. Click on it and the notes text box will open, so you can edit the information as you need.

Shortcuts

When writing and editing your notes you can use a list of shortcuts to have more productivity and streamline the writing process. You can easily combine keys to format, edit, and add images.
