Set up or change your timezone

Specify the timezone in which your workflows should run

Written by Jonatan Gomes

Each schedule trigger has its own time zone. Two triggers in the same workflow can follow different time zones. You can change a single trigger's time zone or apply an account-wide default to every workflow you own.

Change a schedule trigger's time zone

  1. Open the workflow's Triggers panel using any of these options:

    • Select the Triggers icon in the sidebar.

    • Select "Triggers" at the top of the Automations panel.

    • Select the trigger summary on the workflow's card in the workspace.

  2. Open the trigger you want to change.

  3. Choose the time zone in the field next to the frequency. For example, the field may show "(GMT -3) Sao Paulo".

  4. Select "Save changes".

If another trigger in the same workflow needs a different time zone, open that trigger and set its time zone separately.

Set the time zone for all workflows you own

The Account page has an account-wide "Time zone" preference. Selecting "Set time zone globally" applies it to every workflow you own.

This operation can't be undone, and shared workflows won't be affected. To change only one schedule trigger, use the Triggers panel instead.

  1. Open the Account page.

  2. Find the "User preferences" card and choose your "Time zone".

  3. Select "Set time zone globally".

  4. Review the confirmation and confirm the change if you want to apply it to every workflow you own.

The confirmation asks, "Are you sure you want to set {timeZone} as the default time zone for all the workflows you own?" It also states, "This operation can't be undone and shared workflows won't be affected."

Afterward, Sheetgo confirms: "Time zones of all workflows owned by you were set to {timeZone}." The message shows your selected time zone in place of {timeZone}.
