Sheetgo is fully committed to being transparent and building trusting relationships with users. The security of your data and the protection of your privacy are of the utmost importance to us. We develop and enhance every feature with this in mind.

As a result, Sheetgo is trusted by thousands of businesses, organizations, banks, and government agencies spread in over 60 countries. Sheetgo does not use or manipulate the data you connect. All templates you install are yours and subject to Google Workspace, Dropbox, and Microsoft security standards.

Your data

Sheetgo does not store copies of your files or their content.

All data transfers are made from one file to another via a secure connection. The content of your spreadsheets is never copied to another database β€” this means your data is as safe as the environment it is hosted in (Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, or Dropbox).

Sheetgo servers are located in the US, in SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 certified data centers. Transmission of all information between your device and our servers is protected using 256-bit TLS encryption. Get more details in our Security Policy.

GDPR

Sheetgo is fully compliant with GDPR. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. Read more in our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

SOC 2 (in progress)

We are currently undergoing the SOC 2 certification process, which involves monitoring and validating our data security, integrity, and confidentiality practices. Achieving SOC 2 certification will further demonstrate our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security.

Compliance

Sheetgo adheres to globally recognized compliance standards to ensure the highest level of data protection.

  • CASA Tier 3 Compliance: This regulation is designed for cloud services handling highly sensitive or classified data, requiring stringent security measures such as advanced encryption, strict access controls, and continuous monitoring.

  • LSSI Compliance: Sheetgo complies with the Spanish Law on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI), ensuring our online services meet stringent standards for transparency and accountability.

  • OWASP Compliance: Sheetgo follows best practices from the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP). This protects our platform from the most critical web security vulnerabilities, including SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and data exposure risks.

No-Storage Data Transfers

Sheetgo operates exclusively as a file-to-file transfer service. Our platform facilitates secure transfers between files without storing your file data.

Specific permissions to your account are required for basic functionality, but these are strictly limited to operating your services. No copies of your files or their content are ever stored, ensuring your data remains entirely within your control.

Account and terms of use

You need to create an account to use Sheetgo. A Sheetgo account gives you access to the Sheetgo web app, Sheetgo for Google Sheets, and Sheetgo for Microsoft 365.

Creating an account allows Sheetgo to save your automations and update workflows automatically β€” even when you're offline or the file is closed. You can delete your account at any time.
